sorry for the extremely long hiatus. it was the o levels and an important step towards our future. to all those who checked in faithfully, i'm really sorry that you've been disappointed to not see any new chapters. but dont worry! chapter 11 will be out sometime next week (:
i never did really understand the way how o levels will wreck lifes, frays nerves and transmute every part of the anatomy into butterfiles and jelly. well, now i do. the most nervewrecking day of the entire period of time was art. i wasnt even that nervous when it was mathematics.
all in all, art is the subject that i've spent lots of time on. it was seven whole months of hate work in producing the coursework - 6 a2 boards, and a final a2 sized work. and then, a further 3 weeks for the second paper.
what made it worse was that, the social studies paper was just before art. i dropped everything for art and poured everything into social studies. the final day and the hours before the exam was probably the most harrowing experience that i'll have.
its like racing after that single train which will save you from Nowhere, the breathless realisation that actually, you havent opened your parachute when you're 500m from the ground, the extreme moment when you see the time running out in a blink of an eye. its the worse experience EVER.
dont try it, everyone. it took years off my life.
